What Our Sessions Look Like
At WoodlandAnnemal, we offer tailored outdoor sessions designed to meet the individual needs of each learner. Most sessions are delivered on a 1:1 basis, though we can support up to three learners at a time, depending on the setting and needs.

What Our Sessions Look Like
At WoodlandAnnemal, we offer tailored outdoor sessions designed to meet the individual needs of each learner. Most sessions are delivered on a 1:1 basis, though we can support up to three learners at a time, depending on the setting and needs.
Our approach is flexible and responsive — no two sessions are ever quite the same. We work across a range of outdoor locations, including woodlands, school grounds, children’s homes, and community spaces, to create meaningful, engaging, and therapeutic learning experiences.
Sessions may include a mix of the following:
- 🌿 Outdoor Learning
Curriculum-linked learning in the outdoors — bringing subjects like maths, science, and literacy to life through real-world, nature-based activities.
- 🔥 Bushcraft & Survival Skills
Activities such as fire-lighting and outdoor cooking, whittling, ropes (knot) work, shelter-building, and tree/plant identification help build practical knowledge and hands-on confidence.
- 🧘♀️ Mindfulness & Therapeutic Activities
A trauma-informed, holistic approach that supports sensory development, emotional regulation, and the growth of core life skills like resilience, confidence, and problem-solving.
- 🌈 Blended Sessions
Many of our sessions evolve naturally depending on the learner’s needs and interests on the day. We follow their lead, encouraging exploration, connection, and growth.
